Josh Murray amassed accolades for his work with Canada's largest communications firm, including a gold honour from the Canadian Marketing Association and an Outstanding Achievement nod at the Interactive Media Awards. Helming West Sixth Creative’s Vancouver office, he guides community management programs for the Toyota Dealers Association of Canada and provides brand partnership services to lifestyle magazine BCLiving as well as Simply Beautiful, Canada’s number one subscription box. He is the author of American Idol: The Journey to Stardom, a contributor to the successful Chicken Soup for the Soul anthology series and acted as Senior Editor of American Idol Magazine for two television seasons. His second book, Beyoncé Smells Like Unicorns and Other Tales of the World’s Pop Divas, was released in 2017 and his short film, Favourite People List, stars Gemini Award-winning actress Katharine Isabelle (Netflix’s The Order, NBC’s Hannibal).
With more than a decade of experience, Maxine Peters has excelled in the world of marketing, and focused specifically on social media and experiential endeavours. She has worked with various brands and companies including Bell MTS, Labatts, Redbull and more – and is always happy to take on new challenges within her industry. With the rise of influencer marketing, she has created a niche within the market, working with multiple companies to create wide-spread influencer campaigns, and extend those initiatives both online and in person. With a passion for effective content creation, customer service, and positive branding, Maxine constantly succeeds at meeting and exceeding objectives.
An award-winning writer and editor with a solid journalism background, Steven has also worked the other side of the communications divide: co-founding a PR and Marketing agency in 2014. Born in Montréal and based in Vancouver and Paris, Steven has worked in both French and English with clients such as Peroni, lululemon, Roots Canada, Moissonnier, le Dîner en Blanc International and GE Monogram. He is currently researching a political thriller based in 16th century France.
Scott Johnson is the founder of award-winning Graphic Properties. Based in Vancouver, the graphics and branding firm has received accolades on both sides of the 49th parallel, including an Outstanding Achievement honour at the Interactive Media Awards in New York, NY for the digital MTS Entourage campaign. This annual social media and digital outreach by telecommunications giant MTS (now a division of Bell Canada) supported youth initiatives in the province of Manitoba. Other valued clients include Xeva Mortgage, Canadian Mortgage Experts and California-based luxury travel company Artful Travelers, which encourages relationship building for PBS and NPR stations across America.
